Ten days of celebrations came to an end when, after the blessing of animals and pets the statue returned to its Church. The Victory Band led the procession from the Square to the Church. Bishop Mgr Mario Grech imparted Eucharistic Benediction and Deacon Anthony Bajada went down with the reliquary of the Saint for the faithful to pay homage to the Saint by kissing it.
