Thanks to the Ghaqda Il-Milied fix-Xaghra (Society Christmas in Xaghra), Father Christmas kepthis appointment with children in the town and started distributing presents at homes as early as5.30 p.m. As usual he had a hectic time going round and it took him until a few minutes before midnight to complete the job. The photos of some of the visits show the joy on children's faces but not inisolated cases with toddlers who had their first encounter meeting him face to face. Receiving the presents from his hands changed their mood, however, and next year they will be waiting eagerly to welcome him.
