When the defile' of owners with pets was over, the procession, which had earlier started moving from the Basilica, resumed its way to the Church of St Anthony the Abbot accompanied by the Victory Band. When the statue arrived in front of the Church, the Hymn to the Saint, music by the late MroNazzareno Refalo, lyrics by Can Julian RefaloRapa,was played. Inside the Church benediction with the Holy Eucharist was imparted by H.L. Mgr Mario Grech, Bishop of Gozo, bringing the week long festivities to an end. It is worth mentioning that whereas all days of the week were wet, very windy and cold, on Sunday, the day of the Liturgical feast it was a bright calm sunny day albeit quite cold after sunset.
