With the collaboration of the Xaghra Local Council, the Malta Mini Owners Club exhibited over thirty six models of Mini Minor cars, all models built since 1959. The exhibition was held on Pjazza Il-Vitorja from 09:30 to 12:30 on Sunday 22 April 2012.
As explained by the Club's President, Mr Pablo Vassallo, the Club wasfounded in 1998 and hasone hundred and six active members.Besidesitsmany activities related to motoring taking place throughout the year, the Club organises many philantropic activities raising funds for deserving causes like Puttinu Cares and many others.
The exhibiton ended with Mr Pablo Vassallo, the Club President, presenting Xaghra Mayor, Mr. Joseph Cordina, in the presence of Local Councillor, Dr Joseph Attard L.L.D., with a plaque commemorating the event.
