The exhibits are the work of Fr George Camilleri S.J. from Xaghra. After spending over forty years in the Missions in India, Fr George was called back to Malta to help at Loyola House looking after the sick and elderly Fathers there. Fr George's brother, the late Fr Gigi Camilleri was well known for making rosaries. After Fr Gigi died, Fr George got hold of the tools used for making rosaries and besides making the normal ones for reciting the rosary, he came up with the idea of making rosaries from different seeds and of various sizes, from very big ones needing an effort to handle to minute ones, which can hardly be felt between the finger tips. The exhibition contains close to one hundred rosaries, all painstakingly made by Fr George.
