Following Mass in the afternoon of 1st January 2013, bringing to an end forty hours of adoration of the Holy Eucharist, procession was held with the Blessed Sacrament. Leaving the Basilica it passed through Victory Square, 28th April 1688 Street, St Anthony Square, St Joseph Street, the upper part of Church Street through Victory Square and back to the Basilica. A crowd of faithful reciting the Rosary accompanied the procession. Back in the Basilica, benediction with the Blessed Sacrament was imparted.
