In Xaghra, the old year comes to an end and the new year is ushered in with forty hours of adoration of the Holy Eucharist in the Basilica. This celebration comes to an end with Holy Mass celebrated by the Collegiate Chapter and Clergy led by Archpriest Mgr Carmelo Refalo. The Homily was delivered by Can. Noel Saliba. The Choir, Voci Angeliche, directed by Ms Grace Vella and accompanied on the organ by its organist, Mr Ivan Attard. animated the singing. Mass was followed with procession.
