After many weeks of hard work, the Ghaqda Il-Milied fix-Xaghra (Christmas in Xaghra Society) wound its activities for Christmas 2012 by presenting certificates to all those who participated in one way or another in its activities. Among these were those who helped in fund raising by providing sweets for the Bazaar, Father and Mother Christmas who called at homes distributing presents to children, built cribs, exhibited items in the Crafts Exhibition, in brief to all those who contributed to the success of another Christmas in Xaghra. The winners of the first three placed in each of the three Christmas competitions were announced and they received their prizes. Mgr Archpriest Carmelo Refalo, assisted by the Society President Mr Victor Agius, distributed the certificates and the prizes after the 11.00am Epiphany Mass.
