The Komittiva Foundation organized a soiree on Friday evening as part of the festivities and also to raise funds for the festa expenses. Entertaining the patrons were Joe and Veronica Farrugia (Id-Dulli), Ta' Verna (Folk Band) Group, Xaghra Folklore Group, J.A. Dancers and young singers Diana Formosa, Nathaniel Attard, Matthew Xuereb and Choir Santa Klara. The ever enthusiastic Francesca Zarb ably compered the evening. PA systerm was provided by John and Silvana Agius also filling up gaps with modern music and traditional music. Among the patrons were many overseas visitors mostly from the Nazzarenu area who were full of praise for the presentation and the food which was not only bountiful but above all delicious! Some said they would definitely return.
