It is not unusual to have hail this time of the year but that hail fell for nearly three hours and that after fifteen hours it is still seen in abundance in streets and fields is not common. Pity it delayed coming by six days as we would have enjoyed a white Christmas! Meantime we have to be content with 'Dreaming of a White Christmas'.
