This day was dedicated to Xaghra emigrants. Mass was celebrated by Melbourne Parish Priest, Hon. Can. Emanuel Bonello with several emigrants still in Xaghra after the Titular Feast attending. During Offeringsfour emigrants presented themselves to Fr Bonello each carrying the colours of the country they were representing, viz. Australia, The United States, Canada and the Vatican on behalf of Fr Joe Said who runs a Parish in Rome. Emigrant children were among those presenting the offerings. A cake was cut in front of the Church by emigrants after Mass.
