The sixth day of the Novena had the theme 'Forgiveness'. As soon as Fr Anthony started delivering the sermon, the sound of a drum was heard coming from near the front door. It was a drummer who when asked by Fr Anthony who he was the drummer said he was the Drummer Boy who wished to tell the congregation, particularly the children, his story. He said he had a lamb as his pet whom he loved dearly. Once a soldier arrived and killed his pet. He was furious and angry and started hating the soldier. He started looking for him everywhere to have vengeance on him. He could not sleep and and find no peace within himself. One day he heard about 'forgiveness'. He kept meditating on the word and in the end instead of meditating he decided to act and forgive the soldier. From that moment he was at peace with himself and wanted to tell others to forgive wheb hurt by somebody.
