The First Pilgrimage in Lent took place from Xaghra to Ta' Pinu Sanctuary on Sunday 12 March 2017. At 3:00pm the Rosary was recited. This was followed by meditation by Fr Mark Bonello on the subject "Dan Hu Ibni l-Ghaziz" (This is My Beloved Son).. At 4:00pm the pilgrims moved to the Chapel of Our Lady of Ta' Pinu where Archpriest Mgr Carmelo Refalo led the Consecration of the Parish to Our Lady. The Rector, of the Sanctuary, Fr Gerald Buhagiar. from Xaghra addressed the Congregation. Archpriest Mgr Carmelo Refalo also made an intervention. Photos courtesy Mr Manny Buhagiar.
