This was the Fourth Day of the Novena and the day was dedicated to Social Communications Media. It was very proper as the Community Radio, Radio Bambina, is this year celebrating the 20th Anniversary of its founding. Mass was celebrated by Fr Michael Camilleri O.P., Parish Priest of Portosalvo, St Dominic's Basilica in Valletta, accompanied by a delegation from the same parish. Fr Camilleri is also Honorary Canon of the Xaghra Chapter. For over thirty years he has been coming to Xaghra every week to hear confessions. So, he said, he feels as one of the Parish communiy. During Mass, deceased priests who were regular contributors to the radio programmes were remembered, Canon Louis Camilleri, Fr Gigi Camilleri S.J and Canon Julian Refalo Rapa. After Mass, Fr Michael Camilleri and Xaghra Archpriest Mgr Carmelo Refalo exchanged mementoes. The Choir Voci Angeliche animated the Liturgy. Photos are by courtesy of Mr Manny Buhagiar.
