Celebration of the Remembrance of the institution of the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist by Our Lord Jesus Christ was celebrated in the Basilica on 13 April. The church was packed with parishioners and the faithful. The principal celebrant at Mass being Mgr Carmelo Refalo, Archpriest of Xaghra. During Mass the Holy Oils blessed in the morning by Bishop of Gozo Mgr Mario Grech were presented. At end of Mass, the Holy Eucharist was transferred in procession to the Altar of Repose. The traditional and devout Seven Visits the started. At midnight the church was closed to open again the following morning on Good Friday at 4:00 am. Photos courtesy of Mr Manny Buhagiar.
