The Victory Band of Xaghra will be involved in a big way during the festa days. It plays many band marches and delivers a Musical Concert every year a few days before the feast. This year the Concert was held on Thursday 4th September starting at 9.15 p.m. under the distinguished patronage of Mgr Carmelo Refalo, Xaghra Archpriest. The Band was under the direction of its musical Director Mro Joseph Galea L.C.M. Assistant musical Director Mro Josef Debrincat directed the Band for a short period. The Band's Choir Nativitas led by its Director Mrs Sylvana Agius also took part. After a short speech, Mgr Carmelo Refalo blessed two newly acquired instruments. This was followed by the address of the President Mr Eucharist Sultana. Presenting the concert was Mrs Carmen Bajada.
