This day marks the beginning of the final three days of festivities which were normally the days of external festivities. This day of Manifestation with the Bambina starts at Nazzarenu and involves in a big way the community there. The statue of the Bambina, a replica of the one in the Basilica, would have been housed for several days in the Church of Jesus oh Nazareth. In the evening the statue is carried to Victory Square where it will be raised on the artistic pedestal, a fitting monument to the Great Siege of 1565. Rightly the Nazarenu Community feels it is their share of the festa and they are indeed active in the proceedings. In fact the bearers carrying the statue are from the area. The only fireworks on the day are let off in their zone. The Victory Band of Xaghra and the Santa Marija Band of Zebbug accompanied the statue playing festive marches. The climax was reached when at 30 minutes past midnight the statue was slowly raised to take its place on top of the pedestal from where it will guard the Square for the next two days. Meantime, while going up, the singing of the Ave Maria and Coronation Hymn were sung.
