The thousands who visit Xaghra this year to watch the renowned Good Friday Procession will find themselves surrounded by the twelve Stations of the Cross, The Via Crucis, hanging around Victory Square. These are a replica of the Way of the Cross inside the Basilica. The cost of each station is €70.00 and anyone interested in sponsoring one is kindly asked to contact the archpriest or make use of our email address. More than having the satisfaction of assisting in embellishing the main Square every year, the benefactor will be giving an opportunity to visitors to the town to meditate on the passion of the Saviour of Mankind.
